Vicki and Sam first met on a variety show in 1998 and after working together on a number of shows they decided to combine their individual talents - that being Sam's love of magic and Vicki's love of song and dance plus her determination that she was not going to be the sort of assistant everyone usually thinks of - so
VIZAGE was formed. The input in the act is always equal. Sam for the magic and illusion plus the music which they pride themselves on - from a thumping soundtrack for the funky routines to classical for the slower magic. Vicki for the vocals, designs of the costumes and choreography of all the dance routines in the act.
Their union has been a winning formula and they have built up a strong reputation for their modern fast paced and energetic act. Their variation on the traditional illusion act has proved a great success with audiences in the UK and abroad. Apart from touring the country with their cabaret they have appeared at numerous theatres among them being "The Theatre Royal, Drury Lane" and "Blackpool Opera House" and completed a UK theatre tour with "The Old Moscow Circus Show." They love variety shows and have appeared in three of the longest running summer seasons in the country 2003 & 2004 at "The Royal Hippodrome Theatre," Eastbourne and in 2005 at "The Pier Theatre," Bournemouth. They have also regularly appeared in pantomime. They have taken their act further afield performing on "The P&O Cruise Liner "Aurora," a long running production show in the heat of Turkey to the colder temperature of christmas in Lapland.
In February 2005 Sam and Vicki were delighted to win the title of
"BRITISH MAGICAL CHAMPIONS OF
ILLUSION"
